Today marks the second day of National Allergy & Intolerance week 2012, the aim being to raise awareness of all problems no matter how big or small.
Here at Delamere we pride ourselves at assisting many allergy and intolerance sufferers with a wide range of Cows’ milk alternatives.
As luck would have it, Jovan emailed Delamere yesterday with this fantastic anecdote and it is these kinds of stories that make the job we do so much easier!
“When I was about 12 months old I had really bad eczema, we were all very worried. They took me to the doctors they said it may be an allergy, we realised that when I drank my milk before bed it got worse through out the night. So we tried Goats’ milk (it worked). I have 4 cartoons of Goats milk a week from Morrisions and the result were amazing now I am nearly 2 years old I have Goats’ milk puddings, yoghurt, cheese and most of all milk. We are so proud to have Goats’ milk.

Here is an extra-special story from Ethan, who has recently moved to the UK from Kenya, we wish you and your family the best of luck!
“Dear Delamere,
I love your yummy Goats’ Milk, I am allergic to Cows’ Milk.
When I lived in Kenya I used to drink Camel Milk and I was wondering what I would drink in England when we returned in November. My mummy bought me Delamere Goats’ milk and I love it.
I take a carton of UHT Goats’ milk to school and my nice teacher gives me a drink when my friends have cows milk at break time.
My mummy puts Goats’ Milk in my mashed potatoes and at night I have a cup of Goats’ Milk and honey before my bedtime story.

Guraman decided to email in with her story, to let us know how much she loves Delamere Goats’ milk…
“I am writing to say how much I love delamere Goats’ milk.
I have been drinking it since I was 10 months old.
Being born prematurely, my mum worried about the mucus accumulation on my chest. After drinking your delicious milk
It was “bye bye” to the mucus. I love goats milk in the morning on my cereal and straight after school and then at bedtime.
It’s MY Goats’ milk… So hands off Mum & Dad!

We love to hear how much Delamere customers enjoy Delamere products, here is the latest story we received.
”Hi Delamere,
I was born in the winter of 1953 and premature. At that time “Prems” as we were called very often didn’t live long. “Oh, you may not be able to raise him” was the usual cry. The old midwife/district nurse told my father to go to a mutual friend who had a smallholding and was keeping goats and get some milk from him.
Tommy gave my father the milk and said it was there anytime we needed it, my strength grew and I did too. I am now 58 years old and am in reasonable health, although high blood pressure and cholesterol levels were a problem (especially after being partially disabled in a motorcycle accident), so after a long lay-off I have returned to Goats’ milk and goats yogurt. My blood pressure is now nearly normal as is my cholesterol and my asthma is nearly none existent.

Nancy contacted us here at Delamere a week before Christmas, we can assure you that all of the Goats’ had a fantastic Christmas!
“Hi my name is Nancy and I am writing to inform you how great your products really are!
Semi-Skimmed and whole Goats’ milk, great! I have been drinking this milk for years now. I give Delamere huge thanks, an allergy to Cows’ milk products leaves me with Soya milk and believe me, Delamere Goats’ milk is load better than that! Your cheeses and yoghurts are great for dairy allergies too. Thank you to all the people on Delamere farm for such hard work you put in to make these products!
