James one of the Delamere Dairy team who has been drinking goats’ milk almost every day for his entire life, ran 13 miles for the Bath Half marathon last Sunday (7th March). He ran to promote the health benefits of goats’ milk and to raise money on behalf of Delamere Dairy’s chosen charities, ‘The Childrens’ Adventure Farm Trust’ and ‘Kids for Kids’.
James began training a few weeks before, by running around the farm, though he believes the secret to his fast pace of 1 hour 36 minutes was due to his daily glass of goats’ milk. Many professional athletes are beginning to recognise the health benefits of goats’ milk, as it’s easier to digest and less mucous forming than cows’ milk, which can help to improve athletic performance.
Delamere Dairy has made a donation to help support its charities as well as supporting the event on the day by offering a free carton of goats’ milk to the 12,000 runners who successfully completed the race.
If you are an athlete or would just like to try the health benefits of goats’ milk for yourself or your pet, then please visit delameredairy.co.uk or follow this link to claim a free voucher for a carton of Delamere goats’ milk.
I have come to your site to read the stories and look at the nutritional composition of Goats milk. My husband has drank Goats milk since aged twenty four, he is also a type one Diabetic and has been since he was a teenager. He is now middle aged, at this point in his life he has no heart disease or high blood pressure. After thirty seven years of Diabetis (Type one) I think goats milk has played a vital part in keeping him healthy.
I advise Diabetics to consider drinking Goats milk, as I think it is a valuable source of a healthy nutrition with less harmful fat. I myself have after all these years on cows milk am at last drinking Goats milk due to my health problems and hoping my arthritic pain will subside in time, my digestive system is a lot better already.
